Changing Internal Beliefs

The beliefs we hold are something we self-construct. They shape how we think about the world. They can be empowering or limiting.

In Forum you’ll learn how to become aware of your beliefs, examine how they were constructed, and change them, if necessary to experience greater well-being.

  • You’ll learn how you develop beliefs based on your experiences in life, and how these beliefs lead to theories, judgements, and ultimately your behavior. Collectively we can refer to these as belief systems which can either fuel your potential or get in its way.

  • You’ll better understand specific kinds of beliefs that create the parameters for things like self-efficacy, self-esteem, and self-examine how these beliefs are affecting your own life.

  • You’ll learn to become aware of, and examine, and then change, if desired, the cascading belief cycle, from belief to thoughts to behaviors to end-result.

  • You’ll learn the art of cognitive reappraisal, so that you can grow the way in which you think, and modify your behaviors to be better aligned with better states of well-being. By enhancing your perceived choice, you’ll learn to be more cognitively flexible, creative, and resilient.

  • You’ll learn tools to understand other people’s beliefs, so that you can better build lasting relationships through this enhanced understanding and awareness.
